Jeffrey Flath

Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer

Jeff brings more than 30 years of sales and executive management experience to eNow, most recently as President of Cooley Group, a private company with $100 million in revenues and a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance, flexible composites.

Robert Doane

Senior Technical Advisor

Robert has more than 30 years of executive experience in finance and management information systems, most recently with Cape Air, the largest independent regional airline, and Supervalu Inc., a Fortune 100 company and a leader in the grocery retailing industry. Mr. Doane earned a B.S. in Physics and Computer Science from Randolph Macon College and an MBA in Computer Information Systems from Bryant College.

Guy C. Shaffer

Chief Marketing Officer

Guy has over 30 years of strategic marketing experience acquired at advertising agencies in New York, Philadelphia, and Providence. He directed accounts such as Honeywell Safety and Cox Communications. Guy’s broad experience includes digital and traditional marketing, advertising, market research, branding, and planning.  He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University.

Lindsey Iacabbo

Business Development Director

Lindsey has more than 12 years of experience in the commercial truck and automotive industry. While working for some of New England’s leading car and truck franchises, she gained extensive knowledge in many aspects of commercial transportation. Lindsey earned a reputation as a skilled communicator, an ardent advocate for her customers’ interests and success, and a cultivator of long-lasting business relationships.

James Notzen

Director of Operations

James has more than 20 years of experience in executive manufacturing management, most recently with Eagle Picher Technologies. In this role, Jim led the manufacturing team in producing high-performance battery technologies. Jim served in the United States Navy from 1987 through 1993, and graduated from the University of Illinois with a BA in history.

Philip Pierce

Research & Development Associate

Philip has more than 35 years of experience in research and development of advanced technology systems, most notably with Lockheed Martin Corporation. Mr. Pierce developed solar power systems for satellites and was responsible for the design, fabrication, and testing of solar cell-based power systems for performance and energy balance. Mr. Pierce earned a B.S. degree in Physics from The Citadel and served as First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

Gerald Larson

Technical Advisor

Gerry has over 30 years of electrical/electronic engineering management-level experience with commercial transportation leaders such as Navistar, Trane, Litton, Eaton, and Caterpillar. His R&D experience has led him to be named as the inventor for 30+ U.S. patents for advanced controls and sensors. Gerry is a member of the IEEE, ISA, and SAE –and earned multiple math and engineering degrees from Montana State University.

Frank Puglia

Technical Advisor

Frank has over 20 years of experience in energy storage technology with both Mil-Aero and Commercial applications. At Yardney/Eagle Picher Technologies he led a team of Ph.D. scientists and engineers in developing batteries for the B-2 Bomber, Global Hawk UAV, and F-35. Frank also served as Program Manager and Lead Engineer for Mars Science Laboratory Batteries. While at Energizer Battery he held positions in Research, Manufacturing, and Quality/ Process Engineering. Frank has a B.S and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. 

Tuan A. Duong

Technical Advisor

Tuan has more than 25 years of senior engineering and operations management experience in advanced rechargeable battery technologies and renewable energy – most notably with Northrop Grumman and Eagle-Picher-Yardney. He has deep experience in Lithium-Ion battery manufacturing, quality assurance, and technical exploration. Tuan has earned a Six Sigma Black Belt, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and an M.B.A. in Business Strategy and Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Vincent Yevoli, Jr.

Technical Advisor

Vincent has more than 25 years of senior management experience with companies focused on lithium-ion battery technology and high-energy-density energy storage systems including Eagle-Picher-Yardney – a leading U.S. maker of high-performance battery systems for demanding applications, e.g. aerospace. He has also directed successful growth strategies and developed emerging markets and new products for existing markets. Vincent earned a B.S. in Accounting from Fort Lewis College and an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Peter N. Termyn

Technical Advisor

Peter has more than 25 years of senior management experience for companies engaged in such diverse fields as semi-conductors, cryogenics, and engineered adhesives. Now, he is President and CEO of Parkinson Technologies, a maker of advanced, large-scale production machinery that serves energy, electronics, healthcare, transportation, packaging, and varied industrial and consumer end-markets. Peter earned three degrees from the University of Michigan: a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, a B.S. in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering, and an M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business with concentrations in Corporate Strategy and Industrial Marketing.

Raymond B. Sepe, Ph.D.

Technical Advisor

Ray is a leading specialist in algorithmic design, computer modeling, hardware/firmware implementation, and web-based real-time control systems with more than 30 years of experience. He has also authored and published numerous scientific publications on signal processing and real-time adaptive control systems. Ray earned a PhD., an M.S.E.E, and a B.S.E.E. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to joining ESL (Electro Standards Laboratories), he was an M.I.T. Scientist at the Space Engineering Research Center.

Kenneth E. Sepe

Technical Advisor

Ken has more than 35 years of experience in the engineering and design of electronic communications systems, including remote access fiber optic sharing products, data acquisition, and patented wireless. Prior to joining ESL (Electro Standards Laboratories), he worked at United Technologies, where he designed test platforms for testing digital and analog circuitry used in missile guidance systems. He earned a B.S.E.E. from Cornell University.

Michael J. Sepe

Technical Advisor

Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the telecom industry and entrepreneurial business development. Prior to joining ESL, he worked at Sanders Corporation, a Division of BAE Systems. Among other duties at ESL (Electro Standards Laboratories), he is responsible for Network Service accounts, the development of corporate strategic alliances, marketing strategies, and business development. Mike is an honors graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
